Nepal Airlines was formerly known as "Royal Nepal Airlines". It is an airline based in Kathmandu, Nepal and is the government owned national flag-carrier airline. The Nepal Airlines operates flights to more than 30 domestic and 7 international routes. Its main base is Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu.
The airline was established in July 1958 as Royal Nepal Airlines Corporation (RNAC) with one Douglas DC-3. The word "Royal" was dropped from the airline's name as a result of the political upheavals of 2006. The fleet of Nepal Airlines include the following aircrafts:
